Thank you Ninad. 07 Electrical will always be grateful to you and even the students’ store will be grateful to this man. Tutorial Pages just love him and vice-versa.
2. Best Look Award: Rahul Kumar(07BEE068) The Sarkari Khata look took the class by storm. What a perfect replica of a govt. servant and for some even pakodi wala. He just looked so similar to them in each and every t-shirt. Don know what was wrong, his face or t-shirt? Long live Bihar ki junta.
3. Most Confused Person Award: Yashkaran Gill (07BEE016) Now, this guy is a knot. Just cant get a more confused person in the class. Still don know why he looks so confused? Kya karna chahta hai yaar tu?
4. Heavyweight Champion Award (Men): Shoumik Ghosh (07BEE015) The perfect person to ride the ROYAL ENFIELD. And hence he is obviously worthy of this award.
5. Heavyweight Champion Award (Women): Shravya Prasad (07BEE038) Obviously. :P
6. Aptitude King: Kunjesh Parekh (07BEE030) He is the one. You are bad in aptitude, contact him. Take lessons from him and you are sure to crack the next aptitude. My sincere request to all those unplaced, please contact him as soon as possible. It will be only for your good. He has cleared all aptitude tests except TATA MOTORS. And beware other companies, he is hungry for more!
7. Best Underperformer: Pragnesh Prajapati (07BEE036) He has been consistently underperforming in all the IT companies inspite of willing to join it. Don know why? Guess, he is confused with over and underperformance. Hope, he sheds this tag as soon as possible.
8. Best Exam Planner: Ashish Baranda (07BEE006) With close to 20 IF’s, he knows best when to clear each subject. If you aren’t aware of the fees and deadlines of NT and IF’s, he’s the “go to” person. RESPECT for this guy. Cheerz!
9. Best TA Copy Award: Sunay Patel (07BEE034) If Ninad has done it, he has done it. No doubt. He’s always the first person after Ninad to complete all the assignments and I guess he needs to thank Ninad from the deepest of his heart for that. Infact, even we all should.
10. Best Glutton Award: Dipak Prajapati (07BEE035) Mere 2 time ka khana uska 1 time ka khana. That speaks volumes of his hunger and diet. Keep on eating.
11. Best Sledging Award: Chirag Chauhan (07BEE009) ’07 Electrical winning the Nirma Cup had a lot to do with Chirag’s relentless sledging of the opposition. He just could not resist sledging of juniors and kept everybody in splits even when we were down and out in some matches.
12. Laziest Person Award: Rahul Jagad (07BEE019) I m his room partner and I know how lazy he is. Please Rahul, go to the gym and flex those extra packs, they don look good. Hope, Cognizant does not become a victim of his laziness.
13. Best Voice Award: Shalini Nair and Vinod Raj (07BEE027 & 07BEE049) Xavierites sweep this award. Both have extremely strange voices and specially Shalini who became very famous for her “goat-like-thin” voice and undoubtedly became the “VOICE” of the class.
14. Best Cheergirl Award: Hiren Anajwala and Rohan Shah (07BEE004 & 07BEE075) Surati’s sweep this award. Both have a unique style of walking and became very famous as “Liti’s” of the class. If anyone does not know about what I m talkin about, please ask Shalini.
15. Best Company Dreamer: Adit Patel (07BEE032) Every company which visits the campus becomes his dream company. He’s a day dreamer in the truest sense. From Futures First to Patni, he has dreamt of joining each and every company, but unfortunately, it has still remained a dream.
16. Pan Masala Addicts: Bharat Odedara, Bhagvat Singh Parmar and Jigar Jadhav (07BEE154, 07BEE031 & 07BEE018) If D Blocks’ walls have red stains on it, they are the ones to be accused. And if you are unlucky, then your shirt or jeans may also come in their RMD’s line of fire. So, BEWARE!
17. Best Catwalk Award: Nartan Desai (07BEE012) The attitude and style with which she has walked the corridors of D Block has won many admirers. But a great sporting girl and always ready to work in tandem with anyone and everyone. She deserved this award.
18. Devdas and Romeo Award: Parth Khanna (07BEE020) He is the real Casanova of our class. All girls are dying to date this handsome hunk. But, after his sad break-up, he was a changed person. He’s come out of the rut now but my advice to him, don’t worry buddy and please watch Pyar Ke Side Effects, you will love being single.
19. No Mobile Award: Ravi Prajapati (07BEE037) He’s the perfect mumma’s son. No mobile for 3 years and he finally got one when he actually came to know about this unique award was going to be awarded to him. Admire this SIMPLE guy.
20. Best Soldering Award: Shreeni Yeshodharan (07BEE047) Robocon’s “go to” man for soldering. Absolutely jhakaas soldering left even our respected Prof. P.N.Tekwani Sir spellbound and accuse him of getting the soldering done from the market. But, admire his deft hands, truly a craftsman at work on the PCB.
21. Best Substitute Player Award: Prakhar Sharma (07BEE056) He never started any Nirma Cup match. But, admire his love for the game. Football is the game he loves so much and did not mind sitting on the bench in any of the match. Love his sporting nature. Way to go, bro!
22. Most Consistent <80%>: Jemmy Bhamavat and Prashant Yadav (07BEE061 & 07BEE058) Name one review where their names have not appeared. Consistently <80%>
24. Best Supply Award: Sagar Modi (07BEE026) He was the captain of our volleyball team and always complained of lack of proper supply. Supply is the key to winning volleyball matches according to him. And, hence the award to him.
25. Best Creative Slang Award: Denish Patel and Adit Patel (07BEE073 & 07BEE032) I remember they took on each other in one of the visits and came up with absolutely amusing Slang words which were just music to the ears. Stay away from them or else you may come under some serious abuse from these two.
26. Balaji Faithful Award: Richa Panchal and Raviraj (07BEE054 & 07BEE040) Koi bhi recess, free lecture, ta/lib period kyu na ho, you will end up seeing them with a Rs 10/- Balaji pack. And the best part was they even kept offering it to everybody as if it was some Black Forest imported pastry. They are the true ambassadors of Balaji and a communist at heart, I guess, as they broke the market share of Frito Lays and Pringle and hence stopped the American Companies from getting away Balaji’s sharehold of the market. Fuck with Capitalism and MNC’s, was their motto. Admire them for it. :P
27. Way2Sms User Award: Vaibhav Pagedar (07BEE029) Being a public announcer and placement co-ordinator of the class, he put this site way2sms to maximum use and enlightened all about the companies visiting the campus. Thank You Gandhi.
28. Consistent Last Bencher Award: Prakash Mayavanshi and Nirmit Mehta (07BEE024 & 07BEE025) You just take a look at the last bench, chances are you may well see prakash and me with our pet (read: newspaper), busy chatting and cursing our luck as why we chose Nirma or rather why we chose Engineering itself when there were a host of other career options in front of us. Initially, we did show some interest but sadly dint last long. We are the original crackpots of the class, without doubt. And do deserve this award though there were some real tough contenders in this category.
29. GRE GOD Award: Riddhi Ray (07BEE071) With a score of 1500+ in GRE, he is well and truly the GRE GOD of our class. Any tips for those appearing for GRE later in their life, please approach him. Also, a helpful co-ordinator of our class. Thank you Riddhi.
30. Technical GODS Award: Ravi Verma, Parth Upadhyay and Chintan Jariwala (07BEE042, 07BEE048 & 07BEE057) They are the technical pillars of the class. These guys know so much. This trio deserve recognition in technical field and hope some day they do make it big in their respective technical fields and come out with flying colours. RESPECT.
31. EESA ka Masiha Award: Krutarth Shah (07BEE074) Lastly, our Prez! EESA’s lone saviour who also was a contender in the Most Color Award but got this award deservedly. He along with his committee saved EESA’s sinking ship. But, he still has some unfinished assignments and hope he completes them by the time he finishes his term.
And thus ends this long post. The Awards are over. Hope you all guys had great fun reading this. That was the sole motto of this whole concept of 07 ELECTRA AWARDS. Again, a sincere request please koi bura mat lagana and I would like to say Sorry before you actually feel offended, but it was just pure humour and nothing other than that. Please don’t read anything deeper than intended. For all those guys, who felt offended for not featuring in the list, try next time. Do something that catches the eye of the class. PLACEMENT AWARDS are the next awards coming up. Hope you guys are excited for it, coz it will depend on your feedback of this award whether to go forward with those awards or not.
Finally, cheerz! And congratulations to all the winners. You all did deserve it. LONG LIVE ’07 ELECTRICAL!! \m/!!
